Motorway services review: Moto Exeter M5 ★★★★☆

Overall appearance: The services are quite large and gave a good first impression. Clean, pleasant and well maintained.

EV charging: Excellent electric vehicle charging facilities. The chargers were working well during the visit.

Toilets: The toilets were clean and spacious.

Parking: There was plenty of parking available.

Seating: There was a decent amount of seating inside. Some of the bench seats were a little tired, but generally the seating was fine.

Recycling: Recycling bins were available around the services.

Shops include: WH Smith, Burger King, Pret-a-Manger, Chow Asian Kitchen, KFC, M&S Food, Greggs, Costa Coffee, Krispy Kreme.

Food selection: Overall, there is a good selection of familiar chain restaurants, fast food and shops.

General facilities: Nothing major appeared to be missing for a typical motorway services stop; it has the basic facilities you’d expect and does them well.

Overall rating: 4/5 — it ticks all the fundamental boxes and performs well, but doesn’t have quite enough that is exceptional or above-and-beyond to justify five stars.
